AstroBeam Software, Inc. is a virtual reality game studio building voice-driven interaction systems for VR games, centered on the premise that voice is the primary input for interacting with games and non-player characters. The company develops technology for natural, highly interactive communication with NPCs and other players, including a multiplayer LLM-powered NPC system that lets several people converse with the same NPC in VR in real time.

Its first game, Stellar Cafe, is a VR title built entirely around voice input. The stated mission is to bring a sense of presence with others in VR to the mainstream, with an emphasis on more comfortable, more accessible and more human ways to socialize with friends in VR through hand tracking and voice communication.
