Founding story

AMODA was founded in October 2021 by Robin Yovianto, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, and Agusti Salman Farizi, Co-Founder and President. According to the founders, the company began when the two recognized that construction, one of the largest markets in the world, remained among the least digitized, and was affected by a shortage of skilled labor, limited transparency and reliability in specification, supervision and documentation, and an absence of standardization in materials, budget and time estimation — issues that led to high-risk execution and time and cost inefficiencies.

Latest developments

In October 2023 AMODA announced seed funding co-led by East Ventures and Living Lab Ventures, to be used mainly for product, technology and operational capabilities. The company stated a target of collaborating with more than 30 manufacturing partners, 100 SME suppliers/distributors and 150 contractor partners by Q3 2024.
