Ricky Barrett is co-founder and chief scientific officer at Guardian Bio. He began his career as a marine biologist and research diver at Florida Atlantic University studying marine natural products and drug discovery, then earned a PhD in immunology from UCF and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in cancer immunology and tumor microenvironment at the University of Pennsylvania.
