Omar Ekram is the founder of Dayra. He previously worked as a managing partner at Tanmiya Capital Ventures, a private equity firm focused on Egyptian SMEs, and as an investment banker at EFG Hermes advising on major transactions. He holds a BA in Economics and Finance from the American University in Cairo and Columbia University, with minors in Computer Science and Mathematics, and is a CFA charterholder.
