Max Friefeld studied computer and electrical engineering at Harvey Mudd College and co-founded two Y Combinator-backed companies: Layer By Layer and Voodoo Manufacturing. Before starting Ultra, he worked at Boston Consulting Group on operations optimization for major logistics networks and go-to-market strategy for robotics companies.
