Liz Specht holds a B.S. in chemical and biomolecular engineering from Johns Hopkins University and a Ph.D. in biological sciences from UC San Diego, with postdoctoral experience at CU Boulder. She identifies technological gaps in plant-based and cultivated meat development and works to advance corresponding research areas.
