Hiranya Jayakody holds a PhD in mechatronics engineering from UNSW Sydney and a bachelor's degree in electronics engineering from the University of Peradeniya. As CTO and co-founder of HEO Robotics, he previously conducted research at UNSW Sydney on computer vision, machine learning applications in agriculture, and control systems for aerial and space robots.
