Alex Southmayd taught 7th grade through Teach For America before instructing standardized test preparation at Manhattan Prep. He led driver acquisition at Lyft's New England division and later worked as an engagement manager at McKinsey on strategy and corporate development. He holds a BA from Amherst College, an M.Ed. from Boston University, and an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
